Instruct Students with Oregon Aero Academy


Oregon Aero Academy is always looking for a qualified Instructor to join our team!  We typically hire full time instructors in Spring in anticipation of busy Summer/Fall season.

Qualification:
  • 3rd Class or BasicMed Medical Certificate
  • Commercial ASEL/AMEL Certificate
  • ASEL/AMEL Certified Flight Instructor or Instrument Instructor Certificate
  • Must have TSA Alien Student training annually
  • Must have CFI Insurance
  • Must be able to have a satisfactory checkout flight in each aircraft type with Chief Flight Instructor annually
  • Able to Teach Ground Classroom Course for Private, Instrument, Commercial
  • Must be customer oriented and friendly
  • Bi-lingual is a plus!

Working Environment:
  • Teach in Part 61 or Part 141 or both environment
  • Well maintained aircraft with in-house maintenance
  • Climate controlled lobby and classrooms
  • Coffee, water, and tea
  • Expect to work Full Time for 1.5 to 2 years at minimum before you accrue 1500 total time

Starting Compensation:
  • All Instructor positions are W-4 Employees
    • As an Employee , your schedule will be assigned our Staff
    • Starting Wage is $27 for CFI to $37 for CFII​
